CORE is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Victoria Baths, an iconic Edwardian treasure in Greater Manchester. Following a successful meeting with their CEO, we’re working to integrate renewable energy solutions into the Baths’ seven-year plan, combining sustainability with heritage preservation. Together, we’re setting the stage for a greener, community-powered future!

On November 22, 2024, we had the privilege of meeting with the CEO of Victoria Baths to discuss an exciting collaboration: integrating CORE’s renewable energy initiatives into the Baths’ ambitious new seven-year plan. This marks a significant step in combining heritage preservation with cutting-edge sustainability.
Victoria Baths, a stunning Edwardian gem in Greater Manchester, holds a special place in the hearts of the community. Known as the “water palace,” its intricate tilework, stained glass, and historic architecture make it a treasure worth preserving for generations to come. However, maintaining such a unique structure comes with challenges, particularly in energy efficiency and long-term upkeep.
Renewable energy offers the perfect solution, aligning the need to honor the building’s heritage with the pressing demand for sustainable operations. By exploring community-owned energy options like solar or ground-source heating, CORE can help Victoria Baths lower its energy costs, reduce its carbon footprint, and become a shining example of sustainable heritage preservation.
We’re thrilled to collaborate with the Baths’ leadership and integrate our shared values of community empowerment and sustainability into this iconic space. This partnership has the potential to inspire not only Manchester but heritage sites nationwide to embrace innovative solutions for a greener future.
Stay tuned as we work together to blend history, community, and sustainability into something truly extraordinary!
